General English at Sam’s School of English
General English lessons are a fantastic way to improve your knowledge of the English language. In every lesson, students study reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar. They also receive regular tests to monitor progress. Build your confidence with highly motivating and dynamic teachers. All our teachers are qualified English teachers and will help you every step of the way. We work hard to create a warm and friendly environment for our students and hope you will make lifelong friends here in Brighton with your fellow students.
We don’t follow boring coursebooks. Instead, we use a wide range of fun yet informative materials from a variety of sources including magazines, newspapers, movies and online activities.
At the end of all our general English courses, students will receive a Sam’s School of English certificate of study.

Upper-Intermediate/Advanced, B2/C1 Lessons

Sam’s School has just opened a new General English course for you!
Study every Monday and Wednesday Evening 18:30-21:00 (5 hours per week)
Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon 12:30-14:30 (4 hours per week).

General English courses at Sam’s School of English provide students with a motivating and informative solution to improving their English.
We focus on the key 5 skills of language learning: Speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar.
With a maximum class size of 10 students, each class is delivered in a way that allows students to learn quickly and effectively. Vocabulary and pronunciation are very important parts of our General English courses.
With levels available from A1 Beginner through to B2 Upper Intermediate, you are sure to find a course to suit your needs.
Your classroom studies will be supported by regular homework and self-study activities throughout the course. Regular one-to-one tutorials are held to enable you to discuss your progress with your tutor.
